The cliff dwellings of Mesa Verde are some of the most notable and best preserved in the North American Continent. Sometime during the late 1190s, after primarily living on the mesa top for 600 years, many Ancestral Pueblo people began living in pueblos they built beneath the overhanging cliffs.

Colorado Nature Landscape Photographer Mixed Media Digital Art ~ I grew up in Pueblo, Colorado and become interested in photography while attending Colorado University. I used a camera that a good friend had given to me to capture ideas for art classes that I attended. I decided to take my 35 mm analog camera while I hiked the various places in the Colorado Rockies. Someone once asked me to sell them a mountain scene that I captured and I was so flattered I framed it and gave it to them. I enjoy nature and love the outdoors.
